Lewis Hamilton’s former physio and assistant Angela Cullen is now working with IndyCar driver Marcus Armstrong. Lewis gives his thoughts on her return to motorsport.
Back in 2023, Lewis Hamilton and his physiotherapist and overall right-hand woman Angela Cullen have ended their seven-year working relationship.
Earlier this year she re-emerged in motorsport alongside fellow New Zealander, IndyCar driver Marcus Armstrong.
Ahead of the Miami Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton was asked why he thinks Angela wanted to again get involved in the sport.
“I think she’s a healer,” the Briton said.

“She’s a positive person. Her purpose is to bring love to everyone that she meets, which she does.
“And she’s passionate about sports. And I think she’s really enjoying it. a different environment, but still racing.
“And I think from her time here, she became such a passionate racing fan. And so I think once you catch the bug, it’s hard to get out of it. And why should she? She belongs in the sport.
“And yeah, she’s definitely very, very happy right now,” Hamilton concluded.
