Lewis Hamilton says the W15 “didn’t feel terrible” in Mexican Grand Prix FP2 and adds he knows what needs to be fixed overnight.
In Mexican Grand Prix Free Practice 1, George Russell topped the session, however in FP2 he suffered a big crash. Thankfully, he was ok.
Lewis Hamilton on the other hand missed FP1 because Andrea Kimi Antonelli got a chance to get behind the wheel in his second FP outing of the year, and in FP2 he posted only the seventh fastest time.
However, afterwards he said he knows what needs to be done ahead of qualifying.
“I know what I need to fix,” the Briton said..

“Whether or not we can actually do that, we’ll see. But it didn’t feel terrible, a little bit off the front guys but we’ve got some work to do tonight.”
As for Antonelli’s time behind the wheel of the W15, Lewis said:
“It was great to see Kimi do a really solid job for the team in FP1. It’s been enjoyable working with and supporting him ahead of the session.
“And the programme he carried out set us up well for the afternoon,” Hamilton concluded.
