Lewis Hamilton got eliminated from Dutch Grand Prix Qualifying in Q2, and he says it’s now time “to move on to next week”.

Lewis Hamilton did not have a good time in Dutch Grand Prix Qualifying, as he got eliminated in Q2, and qualified only in P12.

After the session, he said set-up changes from Friday to Saturday made the car difficult to drive.

“Yeah it was a difficult session,” the Briton said.

“We made changes overnight that we couldn’t see in FP3 but it was the same for everybody, but we changed the car quite a bit, so it was a nightmare to drive.”

Lewis revealed George Russell also made changes to his car, but no to that extent.

“We both made set-up changes, but I made more,” he said.

Lewis then described the car as “massively snappy”.

“The car was massively snappy today, yesterday we had lots of understeer and tried to dial that out, but we went too much the other way.”

Lewis was also involved in an incident with Sergio Perez in Q1, and he is being investigated for allegedly impeding the Mexican driver. He says things went downhill from there.

“It just went downhill like a domino effect from the moment with Checo. Then the balance just got more and more snappy, more and more oversteer-y. It was terrible.”

As for his chances in the race, Lewis said:

“It will be a struggle to get into the top 10, probably.”

Ultimately, the Briton thinks it’s best to just move on from this weekend.

“It’s definitely very, very frustrating, naturally, but this is what it is. That’s kind of hard.

“It’s kind of the weekend done, and we have to move on to next week,” Hamilton concluded.
