Mercedes and its customer teams will be using new power unit elements at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, including Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas.
Formula 1 teams are allowed to use three internal combustion engines [ICE], turbochargers [TC], motor-generator units-heat [MGU-H] and motor-generator units-kinetic [MGU-K], as well as two control electronics [CE] and energy stores [ES].
At the Azerbaijan Grand Prix Mercedes, McLaren, Aston Martin and Williams have fitted their cars with a new ICE, TC MGU-H and MGU-K.

Ferrari and Alpine have also changed some of their power unit elements, while Red Bull and AlphaTauri remain the only team that will be running on their old Honda power units.
If the teams exceed the permitted number of components in a single season, they face grid penalties.
