Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff says he’s “amazed” by Lewis Hamilton’s mindset ahead of the 2023 season start, and adds the Briton is “in high spirits, and certainly super determined”.
Lewis Hamilton did not have an easy time back in 2022, as Mercedes was unfortunately unable to provide him with a competitive car.
Despite this, Toto Wolff says the Briton is super motivated ahead of the 2023 season start.
“I’ve been amazed, because he’s been in the team now for 10 years,” Wolff said.
“And every year he just comes back more mature, more professional, more understanding of what’s good for him.

Asked if he believes Hamilton can still win his eighth F1 title with Mercedes, Toto said:
“Clearly you need to provide a good car for a driver that has the ambition to win races and championships.
“That’s core to our activity – we want to win,” the Austrian concluded.
