After his amazing win at the Spanish Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton said he was feeling better than ever, and the stats back it up!

After Lewis’ splendid performance a journalist joked saying that there was still some life in ‘this old dog’, which the Briton gracefully accepted.

“There’s still some life in this old dog,” agreed Hamilton.

“I would say I’m more conscious than ever about my body, about my training regime. I’ve been training myself for a long time now.

“[I’ve been] constantly growing and learning how to look after, naturally, the vessel that I’m given and feeling great.”

Well, there are some interesting stats that definitely prove whatever Lewis is doing, we should all follow. Since joining Mercedes in 2013 Lewis has raced in 158 races, and won 77 of those. He has finished second on 25 occasions and third on 18.

So this means the Briton has finished on the podium in 76% of races he participated in, and won almost 49% of them.

There’s still life in that all dog, alright. 🙂
