Adrian Newey’s wife Amanda playfully teased her husband’s next move, by making references to teams he might be looking at, including Mercedes.
Amid rumours of where Adrian Newey might end up when his ‘gardening leave’ with Red Bull ends in early 2025, his wife Amanda decided to playfully tease those who like to speculate.
Under a video clip of Newey talking about his future posted on X, Amanda posted the following reply.
“We vacationed at Limewood, owned by Jim Radcliffe [chairman and CEO of INEOS, one-third owners of the Mercedes F1 Team], arriving in an Aston Martin styled in a ferrari blue/silver, wearing ‘papaya’ shorts [McLaren’s colours], for our holiday with Red Bulls to keep us alert,” she wrote.
There you have it, she made references to all of the teams that have been mentioned as Newey’s possible destination.
