Lewis Hamilton’s former physio and assistant Angela Cullen says she is a “physiotherapist, but I manage way greater than just the physio and the body side of things”.
Back in 2023, Lewis Hamilton and his physiotherapist and overall right-hand woman Angela Cullen have ended their seven-year working relationship.
Earlier this year she re-emerged in motorsport alongside fellow New Zealander, IndyCar driver Marcus Armstrong.
Now, Angela explains what what her role in motorsport actually is.
“I’m a performance manager,” she said.

“That’s how I would title myself. I am a physiotherapist, but I manage way greater than just the physio and the body side of things.
“For me, coming into motorsport, most people who are involved here are about the cars.
“Whereas I’m about the driver, and the performance of the driver,” Cullen concluded.
