Amid accusations from some fans that Mercedes is ‘disrespecting’ and ‘sabotaging’ Lewis Hamilton, the Briton has opened up on his final months with the team.
Lewis Hamilton will leave Mercedes at the end of 2024, and amid controversy surrounding accusations from some fans that the team is ‘disrespecting’ and ‘sabotaging’ him, he has opened up on his hopes for his final months with the German outfit.
“The goal is to win,” the Briton said.
“But we talk about finishing on a high, but I think [it’s] ultimately just how we deliver, how we perform and how we work together as a team.

“Just making sure that we’ve left no stone unturned through the year and we continue to press forward and develop and to carry ourselves to the highest standards.”
Lewis added it’s no problem for him to find motivation.
“Same as always, motivation, I think, is relatively easy. I think it’s just setting your goals. You got to get up, get back up on the horse every time you stumble and get going.
“But I think it’s continuing to believe that you can do better each day and every day is new opportunities,” Hamilton concluded.
